As a Power BI Technical Lead, you will be an expert in all things Power BI, responsible for strong design and visualization, and mentoring other Power BI projects.  The position requires a portfolio of analytics work, including scorecards and making things look super professional. You will also hold office hours to assist the entire business unit with Power BI, with a focus on both analytics and Power BI equally.  Please see below what you get to do in this role and how to be successful.  What you get to do in this role: Lead Power BI Initiatives: Own and drive the development of advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for the security department, ensuring alignment with core business needs. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including security operations, analytics, and IT, to identify key BI requirements and deliver actionable insights through robust data models and dashboards. Advanced Power BI Development: Utilize advanced Power BI features (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Server) to create interactive, scalable, and automated reporting solutions tailored for security and executive decision-making. Mentorship and Leadership: Guide and mentor junior team members in Power BI best practices, helping them grow their technical skills and understanding of the platform. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team. Data Integration with Snowflake: Integrate Snowflake as the central data source for BI and reporting solutions. Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure efficient and scalable data pipelines. Executive Reporting: Lead the creation of BI reports and dashboards that are presented to senior executives, ensuring clarity and actionable insights in complex security data. Project Ownership: Lead core BI projects, from gathering requirements to delivering actionable, data-driven insights to key stakeholders. Data Governance & Security: Maintain data governance best practices within the BI environment, ensuring sensitive security data is handled in compliance with internal and external regulations.
